MakersApp is calculation software for makers, handmade sellers, and small workshops. You enter material, working time, and your sales platform in an intuitive way - and instantly see whether a product is actually profitable. On top of that, you manage your material stock, your machinery with power and acquisition costs, your sales with invoice creation, and keep track of all income and expenses through the built-in financial overview.

No. Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Amazon Handmade, and cash/market sales come pre-configured - with all current fees. You can adjust these values anytime or add your own platforms with custom fee structures. Marketplace, direct sale or your own shop - it all works.
Etsy charges a listing fee (€0.20), a transaction fee (6.5%), a payment processing fee (4% + €0.30), and optionally Offsite Ads (12–15%). MakersApp automatically applies every fee to each sale - you see immediately what's actually left after all deductions.
You set an hourly rate (in the settings) and enter the duration in minutes for each work step. MakersApp calculates the labor cost and combines it with material, machine costs, and selling fees - you see the real profit per product.
Only if you want one. There are two ways: the web app as a subscription (€5.99 per month or €34.99 per year, cancel monthly) runs in your browser on all devices. Or you buy the Windows full version once for €49.99 and keep it for good, on up to 3 devices. Your projects travel between both at any time via the MakersApp project file.
That's your choice. The Windows version runs completely offline, everything stays on your computer. With the web app, your projects are stored on our server in Germany (GDPR-compliant) so you can continue on any device - no tracking, no sharing. After your subscription ends they are deleted automatically after 90 days, and you can export them at any time.
Yes. The Windows version exports a PDF overview of all income and expenses with one click - a solid basis for your tax records or your accountant. It also creates invoices with your own letterhead. The web app is getting these features step by step as well.
The web app needs no installation at all: subscribe, sign in in your browser, start working. On your phone you can add it to your home screen like an app. The Windows version arrives by email after purchase as a download link with a license key: run the setup, enter the key, done.
